For this series, I decided to observe and appreciate the familiar things in my environment and use them as a springboard for making some new artworks on paper, featuring paint made from locally sourced earth, and hand stitching.
My ‘embankment’ series was inspired by a street in the Tamar River region in northern Tasmania.
