In this workshop, you will learn how to intuitively arrange and stitch layers of fabric to create a unique piece of wearable art or decor item while applying zero waste principles and using vintage and upcycled fabrics.
Watch the almost magical development of texture and shape from scraps, cast-offs and upcycled materials as you sew.
Find out how to relax and allow your innate creativity to flow, while practising mindfulness as you work with your hands to create something beautiful.
This is a 1 day workshop, to be held from 10 am – 4 pm on Saturday 20 July 2019.
It coincides with a Slow Stitching exhibition which will be on show at Gone Rustic - lots of inspiration and eye candy! Your tutor, Rita Summers, will also share work she has designed and made using the processes taught in this workshop.
