DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES - 30 July 2020 POSTAL DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES - 20 September 2020 EXHIBITION DATES - 2 - 31 October 2020
I'm very excited to invite you to participate in an exhibition called 'marking time', which is an opportunity for textile artists as they/we emerge from the covid19 pandemic.
The exhibition will be displayed from 2 - 30 October at Gone Rustic, my studio and gallery in St Marys Tasmania, as well as online.
Entries are invited from anyone who loves to stitch, no matter what their level of expertise, consisting of daily observation and stitch activity.
The stitches - or marks - will visually record our venturing out of social isolation day by day.
We will keep our work simple and uncomplicated as we enjoy the outdoors for a few minutes daily to observe and record, and then spend a short time afterwards in contemplation and stitching.
Recycled and vintage materials will be incorporated as much as possible, in line with my gallery's zero waste policy.
A slow emergence is what this exhibition is about, as we readjust to life 'outside' lockdown.

Guidelines will be sent by email after payment has been made.
Looking forward to your participation!
Please note that the entry fee is for covering return postage and other costs associated with hosting this exhibition. Gone Rustic is a privately owned, independent gallery and does not rely on any outside or government funding in order to operate.
