For this series, I decided to observe and appreciate the familiar things in my environment and use them as a springboard for making some new artworks on paper, featuring paint made from locally sourced earth, and hand stitching.
My ‘currawong’ series was inspired by the flocks of these birds seen around my home in northern Tasmania.
